NMR Assignments of Two Furofuran Lignans from Sesame Seeds

Abstract

|
Two furofuran lignans, sesamolin and sesangolin were isolated from the seeds of Sesamum indicum and S.angolense, respectively. Detailed analysis of the spectra of these lignans was carried out by the application of two-dimensional multiple-bond, multiple-quantum spectroscopic correlation techniques.
